2 Corinthians 11

2 Corinthians 11

Paul explains his heart and reasoning for his ministry. He states many things that are in defense of his work but these 4 things are what spoke to me and are challenging to me.
1. He preached the Gospel of God to you without charge. Vs 7
2. He will continue to proclaim the Gospel because he says, “ as the truth of Christ is in me.” Vs 10
3. He says, He will continue to proclaim the truth in order to cut off opportunity from those who desire an opportunity to teach false doctrines. Vs.12-15
4. He daily has the pressure of concern for all the churches vs 28

What would you or I say if we were to be faced with defending our work and life’s ministry to others? What would our defense be? Would we be as passionate and as honest as Paul? How can we change our thinking to be conformed to Christ’s thinking and then from that have a true transformation take place!
Paul is my example of living out a life worth defending!

Lord – help us today to live a life that is worthy of defending, not in boasting about ourselves but rather being walking in the spirit rather than in the flesh. Help us lord to truly be transformed and to renew our thinking to be Your thinking!

We pray these things in Your name the Name of Jesus,
Amen
