Testimony

I wanted to share something with you all. I love how the Lord confirms things that I'm learning through other people. I always know that God is getting ready to do something amazing when I see that others are being challenged in the word by the same things that I am. I really call that a movement of God and we ought to sit up and pay attention when we see that happen.

Over the course of my studies I've been challenged to look more closely at some of the parables. Thus my study of the Gospels. I had shared this with a friend of mine and she also shared that she was going through the parables and just felt like she was getting ready to learn so much. Then this week at a meeting someone else shared this very same thing. I was like, wow, Lord, you must be getting ready to put us all on the same page. It is astounding to me and just so exciting to see God working in the lives of His children. I'm sure we will all be taught different things but what it shows me is that God is working and desiring to teach us all something that is going to some how come together. I know this because I've seen it happen before.

Once when I was reading through the old testament I just felt the Lord using stones as a way for us to mark our path and give praise to Him through these symbolic things. Just as He asked the Israelites to do this, I strongly felt we ought to do the same thing but today it was going to not be used as stones but as our verbal testimony. I had shared this with so many of my friends and wanted to encourage them to be bold to share with all they met the wonderful blessings God was doing in their lives. While at another meeting our leader stood up and used the same passage as the Lord had given me and shared the same thing that God had shared with me. My husband and I both looked at eachother and smiled. Because we knew at this very moment in time we were truly seeing God at work! WOW what an amazing thing. I'm sure you all have similar stories but isn't it just so very exciting to see God at work in our lives and in the lives of others?

I was just encouraged this week and I was also reminded of how we ought to support and pray for those who are in leadership over us. Even if they don't hold a spiritual role over us none the less they are there by the hand of God to fulfill His purpose.

So as you share be aware that what you are sharing may be a message to someone else that they are on the right track. So share boldly what God is doing in your life. It isn't boasting in yourself when you do this but in GOD! I often think if we shared more openly what God is doing our pride would be put down because we have to give the glory to God when we share what HE is doing in our lives. When we don't share it is robbing Him of the Glory that is due HIM. So Share boldly this week.....

Proverbs 4:23 " watch over your heart with all diligence, for from it flow the springs of life."
