Being Thankful

Hi Ladies!


I was pondering this year thus far and thanking the Lord for allowing the first 2 full months to be calm. I was beginning to think I didn't know what calm was :) . Anyway, I am thankful for what these last 2 months have meant to me and as I was reflecting on what the Lord has taught me during them I was struck by how much the Lord had blessed me. As I've been studying in Judges it has just been such a real blessing to be reminded of the Valiant men and women who served before us so long ago. To see their faith and love for God and devotion to Follow after Him.

1 Chronicles 17:7 this passage says : " Then on that day David first assigned Asap and his relatives to give thanks to the Lord."

Verses 8-36 is a beautiful song of thanksgiving - I just thought out loud what I have to be thankful for this year so far and I just challenge you to stop and give thanks for all the Lord has done in Your live this year~


"Oh give thanks to the Lord, call upon His name; Make known His deeds among the peoples,
Sing to Him, sing praises to Him; Speak of all His wonders.
Glory in His holy name; Let the heart of those who seek the Lord be glad.
Seek the Lord and His strength; Seek His face continually.
Remember His wonderful deeds which He has done, His marvels and the judgments from His mouth."
1 Chronicles 17:8-12

Lord, I thank you for working in my life and not allowing me to remain the same. Thank you for using people to grow me thank you for your provisions and for your help when I am in need. Thank you that you never leave nor forsake me. Thank you for your faithfulness even when I am unfaithful. Thank you for the testings for without them I would not be found faithful. I thank you for allowing me to serve another year in this place. I thank you for teaching me about love and truth. Lord, thank you for the women you've put in my life and the friends I've had over the years. I thank you for all of these and so many more! I pray now Lord for the ladies all over the world who are striving to serve you where they are and desire to be used by you to bring the nations to you! I pray lord that today you would put a song of Praise in their hearts. That they would glorify you and sing a new song today! Give them strength, endurance, peace and love to walk in your truth and to bring the Truth to those who have yet to hear!
