Why I started this blog- " Be Transformed "?

It has been over a year since the Lord told me, I needed to be using my gifts in our work. I wasn't sure how to go about doing that since our change in jobs and I even sought counsel from those who are over me. They didn't seem to have any suggestions and it left me thinking, What am I here doing? What is my purpose? What value am I? That is when the Lord clearly spoke to me and I felt as though He was saying use what I've given you and step out in Faith. I've wobbled a bit and even fallen down a few times. I've missed the mark on so many occassions but finally, I feel that I've found the avenue to use my gifts to encourage others in their walk with the Lord. That brings me to this Blog. Emails can easily become a burden and so often they just sit in our in box and cause stress. I actually got the idea from another friend who has a blog for women that offers just helpful information to them. I really think this Blog can offer support to those who want and desire it and if for some they just check it out once a week or month that is fine too. But the thing that is most important to me is that I'm walking in obedience to my Heavenly Father. I chose the title : Being Transformed because that is what we as Christians are to be! If we are not being changed daily by the Word of God and by Our Relationship with our Creator and Lord then something is seriously wrong and we need to seek out someone who can help us determine what is causing us to be stagnate in our spiritual growth. My earnest prayer is that you will grow and be changed through this site. That you will be encouraged and challenged to change and be transformed by the renewing of your mind. You can be sure that there will be, No Judging & No Gossiping in any of the comment sections. This is a place where you can post what the Lord is teaching you and share openly your concerns and desires for prayer. I will promise that if you ask a question, that I will seek wise counsel before answering and if there are discussions that are not going in the right direction, I will cut them off. I promise to be a truth teller to speak truth in Love. I also welcome you all to do the same to me. I'm not a teacher or nor am I trying to preach! I am only sharing from my own personal growth and walk with the Lord. This is what I'm learning and I only want to share it with you. I hope you too, will share what the Lord is teaching you as we study and read the word, together. Lord, I commit this site to You! I leave all the work in your hands and trust that if I am faithful in writing and sharing you will be faithful to speak to these women and use the Holy Spirit to prick our hearts and cause us to be changed! Lord, I love you and desire nothing more than to be found faithful. To be changed, to be made new, and to be a reflection of Your Love! May You Be Glorified! Your daughter and servant~ Melissa H.
